Baby’s First Christmas

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…at 4pm! At least the shorter days are offset by holiday lights making their magic around town.

I love how the holidays allow a home’s decor and design to spill over to the outside. While I don’t think there should be any rules to festive seasons, whatever the celebrations, this December I wanted to make it about the house. I used warm lights to highlight different areas and draw the eye around the property. I also focused on greenery that would remain throughout the winter, which creates dimension Andy a changing effect with the lights and snow.

First winter in the new house, and couldn’t be more grateful.
